Short and 'sweet'?

Anatello was never meant to be ‘just another business’ or ‘just another job’. It was meant to be a MESSAGE OF HOPE. It was something God gave me to share with the world. I knew nothing about writing blog posts, and I heard that no posts should be less than 1000 words. I followed this advise by the letter. Then I got a powerful message in my sleep last night. When I woke up this morning, I immediately wondered about how I will have to color in these words to get them to become a proper blog post. Also, I wondered how I can candy-coat God’s words not to step on toes. Eish!

Surprise!!! As faithful as always, God has prepared me for this just before I got into bed. I watched a movie on Netflix (I don’t even know the name), but it was about a journalist who was determined to write articles of 2000 words. She became so focused on the word count, that she lost the meaning and love through her story telling. Thus, I am not going to try to use words to impress someone. Almost like the following verse in Matthew 6:7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.”, I will use the Word of God just as I got them in my dream.

He said: Tell them that they were born to stand out, not to fit in. Tell them that the reason why My Hand is not visible in their lives is because they leave no room for Me. Tell them that their lives are built on the world, not the Word. There is NO DOOR for me to enter their homes and join them. They have opened a door for Satan though, to come and steal. They have given him the right to bring chaos and havoc into their lives. I cannot be part of their lives, as I am holy. They ask: ‘Where are you God?’ Tell them that they will wait in vain, as I am not invited.

This morning, God led me to Matthew 10:9-16 NIV and the verse on the NEW VERSION BIBLE APP – Romans 12:1-2 MESSAGE. Interesting that this last verse opened on my phone in the MESSAGE version (His message vs my message?).

“I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.” (Matthew 10:9-16 NIV)

AND

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”

Darlings, so there it is. I feel like asking ‘don’t kill the messenger’, but that won’t do God justice. The message is short – 700 words. About sweet? You decide…
